Have you ever heard the sound of thousands of voices in one voice and felt a thrill that is hard to describe? Have you ever seen a dance performed by hundreds of dancers together?
Latvia can be proud of one of the biggest and most beautiful events, which brings together youth choirs and dance groups from all regional schools, singers of vocal ensembles, folk and modern dance dancers, musicians of brass bands, symphony orchestras, members of folklore ensembles and folk music ensembles, accordionists, musicians, young artists, actors – of various artistic types collective members. This year will be the thirteenth. The Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival, which has become a large part of our identity and uniqueness, will be liveable from July 5 to July 13, 2025. The program promises to be an unforgettable experience for all its visitors, from the smallest to the seniors. Everyone will find something special for themselves, be it regional singing, a festive procession or a dance performance.

Rehearsals and concerts of the event will take place: in Riga, in the Silver Grove – Mežaparka Grand Stage, Ostas prospekts 11, in the National Stadium “Daugava”, Augšas iela 1, Arena Rīga, Skanstes iela 21, in the International Theater Center “Ķīpsala”, Ķīpsalas iela 8, in the VEF Culture Palace , Ropažu street 2, Latvian Ethnographic open air museum, Brīvdabas iela 21 and in the Dailes theater, Brīvības iela 75, as well as in places suitable for the celebration.

Festive procession: A splendid procession through the streets of Riga, in which all the participants participate in their magnificent costumes.
Big concert in Mežparks: The historic Mežparka stage big concert, which gathers tens of thousands of festival participants and spectators.
Dance performances: Folk dance groups will delight you with scenic and dynamically coordinated performances.
