If you choose our Green Garden & Parking Apartments as the starting point, you can reach the swimming spots Lucavsala and Lucavsala Bay in just 7 minutes by car. These swimming areas are equipped with children’s playgrounds for all age groups, picnic areas with grilling options, free parking, rescue station, changing cabins and sunbathing facilities for people with special needs, as well as a dog walk area with bathing options for animals as well.
If you still want to be in a swimming place but with an exclusive view of the old town of Riga, you should choose Ķipsala beach, it will take 9 minutes by car to drive from our apartments to the beach. This swimming area has a children’s play complex, sports areas – volleyball, football, changing cabins and a lifeguard station and the view of course to the Riga old town in the distance.
But if you are ready to go on a longer trip and lazily bask in the white sandy beach, go to the beaches of Vecāki or Mangalsala. It will take 40 minutes to drive there from our apartments but you won’t regret it.
Veācki beach can be proud of the Blue Flag status, children’s playgrounds, summer cafes, changing cabins, sports areas, benches, free and paid parking spaces, and a lifeguard station is available on the beach.

Mangalsala beach and Mangalsala pier are popular with lovers of lazy walks. This is a less known Riga beach with the opportunity to choose your favorite sunbathing spot in a less crowded area. There is a children’s playground, free parking and a white sandy beach right up to the Sea Gate where the Daugava flows into the Gulf of Riga. Mangalsala pier is a great point of interest. The sunsets on these two beaches are unforgettable.
